At Embedded World 2009, Kontron displays an array of products for embedded developers. The low-power Atom processor is featured in 2.5 inch pico-ITX modules, 3.5 inch SBC, and complete ruggedized systems for industrial applications. At the higher end, Kontron also debuted NEBS-compliant servers based on Intel® quad-core Xeon and a CompactPCI system featuring Intel® Core 2 Duo. Also announced was a ruggedized VPX module, the successor to VME. What could you do with all that power and functionality in such small packaging?
