    Until now, image processing in Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) required power-hungry DSPs and a dedicated microprocessor. Today, this hardware can be replaced with a single 3rd generation Intel® Core™ processor. VersaLogic just published an article showing how this new processor can help you minimize electronics size, weight, power, and cost (SWaP‑C) – and can even take on flight control in addition to imaging.
