On the afternoon of June 28, EVOC-hosted “20 Years Innovation Leading to Smart Life——EVOC 2013 Innovative Technology Conference & 20th Anniversary Thanksgiving Gala” was successfully held at Xi’an Yohol Hotel. At the conference, EVOC, together with Intel, Wind River and military experts, met with CEOs, R&D managers, technical engineers from more than 200 companies in automation and military industry at Xi’an. There, they explored multiple topics including application of new technology in intelligent industry, transformational development of military industry equipment and how to build strong armed forces through science and technology.
At the conference, EVOC product manager shared with the guests specific applications of embedded products in airport information system, transportation, high-end manufacturing and other core industries, such as much-talked-about 3D industry. The audience gave close attention to the presentation. The manager also unveiled the high reliability and key security technology of latest EVOC military-purpose computers, as well as new-generation military-purpose computing platform technology, domestic and home-grown technologies. At the product exhibition area, EVOC’s latest military notebook JNB-1406 attracted the eyeballs of a large number of guests with its excellent rugged design, water/dust-proof, anti-vibration and anti-shock performance. Another typical innovative product of EVOC---industrial server EIS-2203 also caught the attention of attendees. They communicated with the product manager about the difference between industrial servers and traditional commercial servers. At the site, some manufacturers from DCS and video monitoring fields expressed their willingness to use this industrial server with 7-year product availability as a central data processing unit in their new projects.
A technical manager from Intel also participated in the conference, and shared his view on future development trend of chip technology and introduced specific applications of Vxworks/Linux operating system in the military industry.
