However, please be careful about what you are comparing. With the Core i7, we changed are architecture so that there is memory controller is built right into the processor. If you use our new Automated Relational Knowlegebase (ARK), you can add both processors to your "queue" by clicking the green circle with the plus sign (as in "add") near the top right of each processor page:
Then you can use the "Compare" button under the banner between "Platforms" and "System Design" to look at them side-by-side:
