HELP Connected 4 motors to EDISON Board

    Memphis27 Community Member

      Hello everybody,

I would like to connect 4 motors to my Intel Edison board, there are 3V and 70mA DC motors. They will be activated in same time, so I planned to use a command signal (from an other board), but I don't know what kind of shield I need. I saw the GPIO intel board http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00VY9ZBE6?keywords=GPIO%20Edison&qid=1445458412&ref_=sr_1_2&sr=8-2

but is it enought to activate my 4 motors (I will use a 3,7V 400mAh battery) ? Should I use an H-Bridge (I don't need to change the rotary) ? If yes, I saw a sparkfun kit for the EDISON board, but where could I connect my command signal ?

Thank you for your help !
